Amber Kinser is a powerful feminist writer whose work focuses largely on feminism and motherhood. She is author of Motherhood and Feminism by Seal Press, editor of Mothering in the Third Wave by Demeter Press, has a weekly blog called at the Museum of Motherhood called "Thursdays with Dr. Mama", and now is working on a momoir.
Kinser draws on feminist thought and activism, her doctoral training in family communication, and 18+ years experience as a mother to explore, in her writing and her talks and workshops, how women who choose to mother can do so and live as powerful people in their own right.
